The Scene Stealers is a non-profit organization founded in 2002. Our mission is to provide fresh, innovative, and exceptional theatrical experiences that inspire members of the community to participate, celebrate and enjoy the spirit of the arts.

The Scene Stealers was founded by a group of local educators, business people, and theater enthusiasts who want a community theater group that really gives back to the community. Community theater participants are a diverse group of people who live and work in our neighborhoods. They are our friends, our neighbors, family members, our co-workers… people who enjoy expressing their creativity in a variety of ways. These folks donate their “spare time” building sets, sewing costumes, applying make-up, singing, dancing, acting and more… so that they may come together for the common goal of presenting live theater to their community at an affordable price.

But our commitment to giving back is what makes us unique. For our adult musical each year, we will link up with a local charitable organization whose members will be invited to a special benefit performance, which we will provide in addition to our regularly scheduled performances for the general public. It’s our way of reaching out to the community…and our way of giving something back.
