Summer Theatre Boot Camp
An intensive theatre training program for kids entering Grades 4-9
THEATRE BOOT CAMP
- will provide a fun atmosphere that is non-competitive, supportive, and rigorous.
- will provide each child with a full production experience, emphasizing all facets of performance, technical craft and design technique.
- is an opportunity to make new friendships.
- is a place where our “cadets” strive to reach their fullest potential and discover some new talent about themselves!
- training sessions in the following areas: audition technique, acting skills, vocal strengthening, daily stretch & movement, stage make-up design, costume design, archiving a production, lighting design, and focusing techniques.
A DAY AT BOOT CAMP
Each day will consist of calisthenics (Boot Camp-style!), vocal warm-ups, small group training sessions in the above areas, snack and lunch breaks, relaxation exercises, and rehearsals for our camp production.
